Official Hound Blog
Well, it’s been quite a while since I last wrote to you. It’s taking a bit longer than we thought to get this hounddog up and running, but the folks working on it are making some really great progress. In fact, they’ve brought a talented artist on board, her name is Liz, and you’ll start to see some of her images on the site very soon. I must say, I’m pretty happy with my new look! I am a handsome hound!
In case you’re new to our blog and the Partyhound website… let me remind ya that the Partyhound, here at www.partyhound.com, is simply all about parties! It’s all about findin’ unique and fun event ideas, locating vendors to help you with your public or private function, offering party supplies at great prices, and a whole lot more. We’re pretty darn excited about it!

Ted, the owner of the Partyhound business; and Paul, our chief web developer are getting ready for a major promotional blitz to start real soon on January 20th. They’ve developed an online system and a marketing plan for a northeast regional push to invite vendors to join the website. Even though the website is still “under construction”, as they say in the internet biz… everyone involved with the project is very enthusiastic and looking forward to some pretty awesome stuff for the Hound in 2008.
They plan to let businesses join for free for a full year! Can you believe that !? Free for a year! I asked ‘em, “Have you guys been spendin’ too much time with cats lately, you sound a little scatter-brained!” But they said it’s a good plan and they have a lot of faith in it. Ted says it’ll give ‘em time to work on the website some more, so it’ll be really great when they start to ask businesses to pay just a little bit for a listing on the site… and it’ll get people’s attention. Well, it sure got my attention! They’ve got about 20 people to help with the project and are just about ready to go!
Hey, don’t forget our guys have federally trademarked the Partyhound website and business concept… they actually own the word “partyhound.” Pretty cool, huh!? They own it! So, anyway… we want to ask you nicely not to use the word in any way… it belongs to Partyhound Enterprises and, well, we don’t want to call our legal beagles. They have slobbery faces and big teeth and believe me, you don’t want to get stuck in their backyard. It ain’t pretty. Sorry, but hey, our owners paid a lot of money to get the word and trademark the whole thing, and they’ve got some big ideas for it. But don’t forget, those ideas are going to help you! Especially if you’re puttin’ on any sort of party or wedding or event or function of any kind… or if you have a business that caters to the party-needs customer. So please don’t be a copy-cat. We sincerely do appreciate it.
